Shelter belts

Why shelter belts? There are many good reasons to plant hedgerows. Farms are getting larger and large uniform monocultures are not attractive for wild flora and fauna.

A 3-6 row shelter belt gives the landscape character and improves the environment for both animals and humans.

Studies also show that game follows the line of shelter belts leading from one place to another. Planting shelter belts increases the value of agricultural properties, and leads to a more varied and diverse flora and fauna.
